Urgent Change Notice

Participants should use the Urgent Change Notice to notify the System Operator when a temporary change to asset capability occurs.

Asset capability information provided on the form must be the asset owners best estimate of actual capability. The asset owner must immediately advise the System Operator of any changes to the details contained in the form.

When the system operator receives an urgent change notice it will:

• Assess the impact change in asset capability will have on the system operator’s ability to manage the power system
• Agree with the asset owner any necessary operating conditions or limitations as a result of the temporary change
• Advise the asset owner of any conditions or constraints the system operator will apply to the dispatch of the asset.

Note: Asset capability information provided on this form will replace that notified on the latest ACS only for the duration notified on this form, at which point, the ACS will be deemed as correct unless otherwise informed.
