Monitoring

We monitor the power system loads across New Zealand on a 24/7 basis to ensure maximum performance of the power system. For the duration of the Rugby World Cup we will be preparing daily reports on game days of the regional and national loads. These will compare the loads during the games to the loads the same day the week before and also the previous year. The reports will be updated the day after the games on the Monday - Friday basis.

For the purposes of this comparison, the country has been divided into 10 load zones as shown on the map below.
