System Security Forecast (SSF) 2008

The System Security Forecast (SSF) is produced every two years and revised every six months if required.  Revisions to the SSF are required if changes to the power system materially affect the SSF. The SSF Guidelines document determines the purpose and principles of the SSF.

25 June 2007 This charter expresses the System Operator’s general policies and expectations of business behaviour to be observed and displayed in meeting its obligations and delivering services under the EGRs and its service provider contract with the Electricity Commission. The System Operator believes the manner in which it meets its obligations materially influences its ability to meet the PPOs.

The System Operator’s compliance with this charter is on a good faith basis and subject to legislative and contract commitments.
