Pole 3 Market System Changes

Overview

The System Operator is planning an update to its market system on the 20th January 2012.

The purpose of this is to support the commissioning of Pole 3 in late 2012. The update on the 20th January will include the removal of some Pole 1 specific functionality that is no longer used, as well as the addition of some functionality only to be used during the Pole 3 commissioning process. The majority of the changes will have no visible effect on the market solutions prior to commissioning of Pole 3.

The majority of these changes are planned to be deployed on 20th January 2012 with an additional smaller set of changes to be deployed after the decommissioning of Pole 1 and prior to the commissioning of Pole 3.

The market system outages related to these planned deployments will be advised in the normal way.
