National Winter Group 2008
Work is well underway with a target to produce a report in early December outlining the expected position for Winter 2008 assuming continued unavailability of HVDC Pole 1.
A new addition on our website: transfer limits on the HVDC with only Pole 2 in operation.
December industry forums – new market systems
We have finalised the run times for our December Industry Forum. The forum will focus on matters related to the introduction of our new market systems, and will refer to other industry matters if time permits.
The forum will be held:

- frequency keeping - changes in how instructions are issued

- SFT and SFT check - how security will be managed and how constraints will be published

- transition planning – what we are planning, key dates and when changes will be introduced
- weekly dispatch schedule - what will happen during transition
- the progressive role out of the simultaneous feasibility test (SFT)
- other schedules during transition.
