Technical Review and Survey
The first report from the AUFLS Review is complete and is being prepared for an external peer review. The external review is expected to take 1 month, we expect to be able to publish the report after the next set of SO workshops. The report details the findings from the technical studies and survey work, and covers the following areas:
- The purpose of the AUFLS
- A history of AUFLS in New Zealand
- A comparison of international reserve requirements and AUFLS settings
- Literature review - main findings from international under-frequency events and the use of AUFLS
- Results from the technical studies including the performance of the existing AUFLS scheme
- Options and next steps
